"Our Goal is to Elevate Equity and Preserve Legacy: Restoring Landownership with Education and Empowerment"

About Us:

Dream Green Conservation, LLC has worked with a number of USDA_NRCS partners over the last five years to provides educational, technical, and financial management services of USDA programs to ensure, protect, and preserve land ownership for African Americans, Minority, Socially Disadvantaged, Limited Resource and other historically underserved landowners. Since the 1900s, African Americans have historically endured higher rates of racial disparity, racial equity and land loss retention due to the lack of support from government programs, policymakers and systematic discrimination.

Partnership

We extend our deepest appreciation to Mr. Frank Taylor, the visionary founder of Winston County Self Help Cooperative, for his invaluable contribution to our recent gathering of students. Mr. Taylor's presence and words of wisdom about 1890's institutions and careers in agriculture added immeasurable value to our event. His dedication to empowering communities in the Mississippi Delta, fostering agricultural education, and championing the principles of self-help is nothing short of inspiring. The insights he shared resonated deeply with our audience, illuminating paths toward a more sustainable and equitable agricultural landscape.

Community Involvement

We recognize that true change takes root at the community level. Our Community Involvement initiatives are designed to foster collaboration, empower local voices, and create a shared vision of a more equitable and sustainable future.

We actively engage with neighborhoods, grassroots organizations, and community leaders to co-create solutions that address the unique challenges faced by historically underserved landowners. Through workshops, town halls, and outreach events, we provide a platform for dialogue, education, and collective action.

Youth Involvement

At Dream Green Conservation, we believe in empowering the next generation to become guardians of the land and champions of equity. Our Youth Involvement program is a vibrant platform that engages and educates young minds about the vital intersection of history, culture, and environmental stewardship.

Through dynamic workshops, interactive field experiences, and mentorship initiatives, we inspire youth to connect with their heritage and understand the significance of land ownership. By equipping them with knowledge about USDA programs, sustainable practices, and financial literacy, we plant seeds of change that will grow into a brighter, more equitable future.

Our Youth Cultivators gain hands-on experience in conservation practices, learn the value of collaboration, and discover the power of advocacy. They become advocates for historically underserved communities, leading the charge to ensure that racial equity and land retention remain at the forefront of social and environmental consciousness.
